Yellow Sun Systems ("we," "our," or "us") operates the following services:

• DreamZone (dreamzone.app) — a personal dream journal with AI analysis
• The Writing Sessions (writing-game.onrender.com) — a creative writing tool

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information across all of our services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in to one of our services (e.g., via Google Sign-In on DreamZone), we receive and store:

• Your account ID (internal identifier from the sign-in provider)
• Email address
• Display name
• Profile picture URL

Content You Create

Depending on the service, you may provide:

• DreamZone: Dream titles, descriptions, dates, mood, lucid dream status, and tags
• The Writing Sessions: Writing session content and related metadata

AI-Generated Analysis (DreamZone only)

When you choose to analyze a dream in DreamZone, the dream title and description are sent to a third-party AI service (Anthropic) to generate an interpretation. The resulting analysis is stored alongside your dream. See Section 4 for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Authentication: Your account information is used solely to identify you and maintain your session.
• Service features: Your content is stored to provide the core features of each service (journaling, search, analysis, writing sessions, etc.).
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not use your content to train AI models.

3. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored in databases on servers hosted in the United States.
• All connections to our services are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
• Authentication sessions use signed, HTTP-only cookies that cannot be accessed by client-side scripts.
• Each user's data is isolated; you can only access your own content.

4. Third-Party AI Processing (DreamZone)

When you explicitly request AI analysis of a dream in DreamZone, the dream's title and description are sent to Anthropic (anthropic.com) via their API. Important details:

• Data is sent only when you click the "Analyze" button and confirm the consent prompt.
• We do not send your email, name, or any identifying information to Anthropic — only the dream text.
• Anthropic processes your dream text solely to generate the analysis response. Under Anthropic's API data policy, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models and are retained for a maximum of 30 days for trust and safety purposes, after which they are deleted.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: Export all your data at any time from within the service.
• Delete your content: Remove any individual entries you have created.
• Delete your account: Permanently delete your account and all associated data. This action is irreversible.
• Withdraw consent: You can stop using optional features (such as AI analysis) at any time.

6. Cookies

Our services use only strictly necessary session cookies for authentication. These are HTTP-only, secure cookies that expire after 7 days. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies.

7. Children's Privacy

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
